AFA Bleating on the FMA

September 17, 2004

While reading this, check out the Daily Show on the Senate Debate here....

From the American Family Association

THIS SUNDAY IS PROTECT MARRIAGE SUNDAY; MONDAY IS CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVE DAY
Dear Eva,

On September 28, the House of Representatives will vote on the Federal Marriage Amendment. If you favor traditional marriage, and oppose homosexual marriage, please get involved.

This coming Sunday, September 19, is Protect Marriage Sunday. Next Monday, September 20, is Call your Representative Day.

I'd like to urge readers who live in South Dakota to contact Stephanie Herseth to urge her to vote AGAINST the FMA.... She voted for the anti-gay bill to strip the courts of jurisdiction on DOMA related cases. Here is the contact information for her campaign.

Email Stephanie: stephanie@hersethforcongress.org

Media Inquiries: tessa@hersethforcongress.org

Fundraising Inquiries: jessica@hersethforcongress.org

Questions about volunteering: nick@hersethforcongress.org... Back to the AFA alert....

To see what you can do to help promote Protect Marriage Sunday, click here. To get information on where your Representative stands on homosexual marriage, click here. Monday, please call your Representative. To get his or her direct number, please click here.

Those pushing homosexual marriage are already calling. It is imperative that your Representative hears from you. The future of marriage in America depends on those of us who oppose homosexual marriage letting our voice be heard.

A special broadcast concerning the FMA featuring Dr. Jim Dobson, Shirley Dobson, Tony Perkins, Ted Haggard, Janet Parshall, Richard Land and David Barton will air live on American Family Radio beginning at 7 pm Eastern this Sunday.

You can listen online at AFR.net and then click the "Listen Live" button.

On Monday, please call your Representative and ask him or her to vote for the Federal Marriage Amendment. Ask others in your church to call, also.

Thanks for caring enough to get involved!
Sincerely,

Don

Donald E. Wildmon, Founder and Chairman
American Family Association

P.S. Please forward this email to at least one friend.

Do the opposite.... Call your representative - especially if you live in a swing district.
